I think I was in 9th grade when the Twilight Series first came out. That was likely my first glimpse at sexy fantasy. This began my love for the mythological, naughty, and just down right shocking. Whether it's two dragon riders fucking on a throne or two elves tag teaming a fairy, I'm here for it, and if you are too, there should be no shame in our game.

Before you continue reading (or not), I want to clarify that I won't be consistently doing product or book reviews, but I will link badass products and services that I ACTUALLY use. Watching people 'unbox' things makes me want to actually fucking vomit. Reading steamy books allows me to focus on something other than money, laundry, my job, my kids, and so on. It's a mental escape into a sultry world, and I want you to know that it's perfectly fine to not dwell on your rough day at work and instead immerse yourself in the details about the length (or girth) of your fantasy character's penis.

Anyways, a girlfriend recommended the Fourth Wing series to me, and at first, I wasn't interested. People flying around on dragons and fighting each other? Cool, but what about the sex, lust, or the complicated romances?! Luckily, she assured me there were plenty of hot and steamy moments, so I dove headfirst.

I picked up the first copy of the three part book series. Shiny hardcover, rune like designs, and lots and lots of pages- I am hopeful.

Long story short, I received my happy mail today. A couple of months later, I am on the final book, ONYX STORM. If you enjoy a book with a badass female lead, LGBTQ+ friendly themes, mythological creatures, and lots of action, this series is for you. Rebecca Yarros kills it again with another magical series to distract us for a little while from the day-to-day grind.

If you're spending the night in or have just put the kids to bed, grab this book and let Xaden Riorson lull you to sleep.
